Companion is another Yorkshire based company with a national team of technical surveyors. Established in 2003 and is a member of The British Healthcare Trades Association (BHTA), which means their working standards meet the BHTA Code-of-Practice.

Part of their design includes a rail which enables their stairlifts to fit even a spiral staircase. Similar to Acorn they have a compact and an outdoor model.They pride themselves keeping your comfort in-mind, with ease of operation; touch-sensitive paddles can be for both right and left handed users + there are remote control options. When your unique stairlift is built, the seat and foot-rests will he purpose made for your comfort.

 

Companion stairlifts are DC powered from rechargeable batteries, with a whisper sounding motor enabling day and night use.

They can build a fold-up track if there is an obstructing doorway at the top or bottom of your stair-case.

 

The seats can come is a variety of colours and they offer a re-upholstery service
