The Superglide Stairlift - specifically designed for straight stairs. 

The beauty of this product is the simplicity of operation by paddle control, the lightest touch is all you need and it comes with 2 remote controls to request the stairlift. The unit is DC-powered and runs on rechargeable batteries and will operate if you ever have a powercut – you get 15-20 trips when charged. The motor isn’t noisy, more like a whisper and is designed for a smooth ride,

rather than start-stop jolting. The speed is approx 15cms per second and has a dual braking system to ensure you have a comfortable ride. It has 5 safety sensors to detect if there is ever an obstruction in the way and the chair will stop automatically.

 

The seat is padded and swivels to allow access, there is a belt for your safety – the seat

can be folded away when not I use to allow more space. It’s also childproof and can be

locked. A digital display allows you to fix any error codes and Acorn’s support team are
